"Our mission is to make whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ in Edinboro, the surrounding area, and the world."

Our Mission statement is not truly "original". Our sources for this statement come from two statements made by Jesus to His original followers in Matthew 28:19,20 and Acts 1:8. Jesus gave them to us as our task in following Him. In doing this we are not to limit ourselves based on ethnicity or geographical area but that all should become followers.

We desire to see people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ that does not just impact their lives on Sunday but everyday. We want to see people realizing the joy and purpose that is in their lives no matter what their day to day job or vocation is. This comes through first knowing Jesus. Edinboro Alliance Church wants people to realize that they can have a relationship with Christ. We focus on practical teaching and preaching where we attempt to help people identify their gifts and talents in serving the Lord and others in the direct ministry of the church which we believe extends to every area of life.

We realize that our influence as a church does not stop at the boundaries of Edinboro, though that is where it centers. From Acts 1:8, we realize Jesus would have our witness to extend much further into all the world. We know that being in Edinboro places us in ministry to students. Students impact the world because they are sent out after completing their degree program. Some may move to Erie. Some may move to Pittsburgh. Some may move to Mobile, Alabama or to Mexico City. What we want to do is send them as equipped people of God to continue to minister through their new local church.

A number of people from our church are from the surrounding area so our focus continues beyond to Erie County and northern Crawford County, PA.

Being a part of the CMA also fits into this mission. We are a sending and supporting ministry. We support the global missions effort that we are engaged as a part of the CMA.
