In June 2002 exactly 4 years after leaving Edinboro for graduate work at Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, KY), John and Corrina McCready returned to Edinboro, PA to lead Edinboro Alliance Church.

Both John (‘97) and Corrina (‘98) graduated from Edinboro University of PA. They carry with them a passion for Edinboro, for both the families and students in the community.

John grew up near Enon Valley, PA and graduated from Mohawk High School. He was active in his local CMA church growing up and came to Edinboro to major in secondary education, social studies. In his freshman year, he met Corrina who had worked summers with his sister at a famous ice cream shop in Chippewa Township, PA. Two months after meeting Corrina, John realized that God was calling him to pastoral ministry.

Corrina grew up in Patterson Township, PA and graduated from Blackhawk High School. She was involved at an early age in her home United Methodist Church in Chippewa. She began her college studies at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. She transferred and finished her education as an elementary education major at Edinboro University. Before her senior year at EUP, John and Corrina were married in June of 1997.

While living in Kentucky, Caleigh joined the family in July 2001. Twins Alec and Micah are the newest editions in November 2003.

John said, "As we see the people of Edinboro Alliance Church excited about reaching out to Edinboro, our desire is deepened and renewed. Our rich diversity continues to impress upon us how beautiful the body of Christ is".
