Missions Conference:
Every fall we have the opportunity to hear from two of our missionaries
that tour to CMA churches to tell about what is happening in their
countries of service. This runs four days on which we usually
have special evenings for children and fellowship times with the
missionaries visiting with us.
Great
Commission Fund:
The GCF is supported by CMA people nationwide with the intent
to staff missions work worldwide and support church planting efforts
in North America as well as the rest of the world. Each of our
people are challenged to make a Faith Promise to give to this
crucial supportive work. We also take special offerings that contribute
to the GCF as well. For more information as to how the GCF is
dispersed see
our national website.
CAMA
Support:
CAMA
is the worldwide relief work of the CMA. As a church we also support
the ministry work of CAMA.
CAMA
is not funded through the GCF so it is necessary to support this
work as well. CAMA
also supports the international church planting ministry of the
CMA working side by side with vocational missionaries. Most CAMA
workers are people with medical professional backgrounds or community
development experience.
Local
Outreach
Kid’s
Club:
We are excited to see so many great kids coming to our clubs on
Wednesday’s then to Sunday School on Sunday.
Kid’s Club is a great environment for kids to come into
Edinboro Alliance Church.
Friendship
Sundays:
These are on the fifth Sunday’s throughout the year. These
are special Sundays where we invite our friends to celebrate with
us.
Annual
Move-in Day Barbeque:
A new tradition to EAC is our move-in day cook out. For the past
two years on the weekend of move-in day we have had free food
for families and students to stop and get to know us. This year’s
event was held in the YMCA
parking lot and gave us the opportunity to meet many new and returning
students and families.
